LESSON # 421 - Will Of Lord

LESSON # 421 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Will Of Lord
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –128 & 129 of 200, Section –13 (First-Fourth of Part – 4)

128.  It is no concern at all of thee (Muhammad) whether He relent toward them or punish them; for they are evildoers.

129.  Unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. He forgiveth whom He will, and punisheth whom He will. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
128.  Laysa  laka  minal-‘amir   shay-‘un  ‘aw  yatuuba  ‘alayhim  ‘aw  yu-‘azzibahum  fa-‘innahum  Zaalimuun.

129.  Wa  lillaahi  maa  fis-samaa-waati  wa  maa  fil-‘arz. Yagfiru  limany-yashaaa-‘u  wa  yu-‘az-zibu  many-yashaaa’. Wallaahu  Gafuurur-Rahiim.

Lesson
Seventy companions (may Allah be pleased with them) of Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) were killed in the Battle of Uhud. Uncle of Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), named Amir Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) was also killed with them and he was granted the title of Saiyidush-Shuhadaaa’ (Chief of the Martyrs). Polytheists disgraced very brutally the dead body of Hadrat Hamza (May Allah Almighty be pleased with him). One eye of Holy Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was hurt, one lower right side tooth out of the front four teeth was broken, chain ring of his own helmet broke and penetrated in his cheek, forehead was wounded and his (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) body covered with blood. His foot staggered, he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) fell down on the ground and became senseless.

The infidels proclaimed that Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) had been killed. Muslims were confused and the people were stunned. After some times when Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) came in senses, this sentence was on his tongue, “How that nation will get prosperity, which wounded her Prophet’s face, who used to call them towards God”.

Observing these brutal tyrannies of the polytheists, Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) intended to imprecate for some tyrant people out of them, but it was not acceptable by Allah Almighty. Therefore, the people for whom Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was going to invoke a curse, Allah Almighty put all of them down in the feet of Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) after a few days, and made them venturesome soldiers of Islam.

The intent to tell from this verse is that neither a mankind has any authority, nor complete knowledge. Although, the infidels are tyrannizing the Muslims but it is the Will of Allah Almighty. Whether He relents toward them or punishes them. Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth belongs to Allah Almighty. He forgives whom He wills and guides towards the light of Belief, but arrests in the punishment of infidelity whom He wills. But Allah’s Praise of Mercy and Forgiveness keeps Superiority on His entire other Praises. He neither wants to put someone in trouble and nor punish anyone until the time someone does not reach the last stage of bad doings and disobedience.

LESSON # 420 - Aim Of Heavenly Support

LESSON # 420 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Aim Of Heavenly Support
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –126 & 127 of 200, Section –13 (First-Fourth of Part – 4)

126.  And Allah ordained this only as a message of good cheer for you, and that thereby your hearts might be at rest. And victory cometh only from Allah, the Mighty, the Wise-

127.  That He may cut off a part of those who disbelieve, or overwhelm them so that they retire, frustrated.
126.  Wa  maa  ja-‘alahul-laahu  ‘illaa  bushraa  lakum  wa  litat-ma-‘inna  quluubukum-  bih. Wa  mannasru  ‘illaa  min  ‘indillaa-  hil-‘Aziizil-Hakiim.

127.  Li-yaqta-‘a  tara-fam-minallaziina  kafaruuu  ‘aw yakbitahum  fa-yanqalibuu  khaaa-‘ibiin.

Lesson
The help of Allah Almighty reached in the form of angles (peace be upon them) and all the invisible stuff were provided so that fear and confusion from the hearts of Muslims begone and they acquire peace and satisfaction. Otherwise, help of Allah Almighty is neither needy of such things, nor bound of motives. His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says unto it: Be! and it is, or when He wishes, disgrace and abject the Infidels without any battle. The help, which Angels (peace be upon them) cause to reach, cannot do so without permission and power of Allah Almighty. Allah is the Mighty and the Overcoming. He is the Wise and Knows very well that which type of means would be suitable to effect His purpose.

It is our observation from the daily life that the results and events manifest from the particular motives. For example, the thirst is quenched with drinking water, the cure of hunger is taking food, the death happens when the heartbeat stops. This law has too much big universal status that believing in it has become part of the humankind’s faith. When and where any result occurs, the people begin to discover its reason. Likewise, if any person wants to produce a special result or particular situations, then he brings into effect necessary causes for them. Similarly, it has become human being’s belief that no result can be out without motives. Whereas, it is the fact that a very Mighty and Wise Power is working behind this law, the Hand of Allah Almighty is working behind the relation of motives and results.

Having trust in the apparent motives is the sign of our belief’s weakness. If Allah Almighty wills then the result can be produced without any apparent motive. The promise of Angle’s help (peace be upon them) in the Battle of Badr reminds us that instead of trusting in the apparent motives, we should have perfect trust in complete Divine Power (Omnipotence) of Allah Almighty.

LESSON # 419 - Support With The Angels

LESSON # 419 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Support With The Angels
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –124 & 125 of 200, Section –13    (Part – 4)

124.  When thou didst say unto the believers: Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should support you with three thousand angels sent down (to your help)?

125.  Nay, but if ye persevere, and keep away from evil, and (the enemy) attack you suddenly, your Lord will help you with five thousand angels sweeping on.
124.  ‘Iz  taquulu  lil-Mu’-miniina  ‘alany-yak-fiyakum  ‘any-yumiddakum  Rabbukum-  bi-salaasati  ‘aalaafim-minal-malaaa-‘ikati  munzaliin

125.  Balaaa,  ‘in-tasbiruu  wa  tattaquu  wa  ya’-tuukum-min-fawrihim  haazaa  yumdidkum  Rabbukum-  bi-khamsati  ‘aalaa-fim-minal-malaaa-‘ikati  mu-saw-wimiin.

Lesson

The religious scholars say that this verse signifies towards the Battle of Badr. While the Muslims frightened observing a large number of Infidels, Allah Almighty commanded for their consolation, “Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should support you with angels (peace be upon them) sent down from the sky for your help against the Infidels?”

Then Allah Almighty affirmed, “if you persevere, prove to be patient, fear from Allah Almighty and keep away from evil, and the enemy’s Army attacks you suddenly, then your Lord will help you with five thousand instead of three thousand angels (peace be upon them) sweeping on special marked horses”.

Number of Infidels was one thousand in the field of battle. Therefore, Allah Almighty promised to send one thousand Angels (peace be upon them) as it has been mentioned in Surah ‘Anfaal (Spoils of War). When the Muslims felt confusion, then Allah Almighty increased the strength of Angels (peace be upon them) threefold, because the strength of the Infidels was threefold than Muslims. Allah Almighty appointed that if they would persevere, show firmness and stability, stand still to fight with the enemies, fear from Allah Almighty and keep away from the evil, then five thousand Angels (peace be upon them) will be sent down from the sky. Even if the disbelievers get more help from somewhere, you should not be confused. Allah Almighty will help you. It comes in the histories that the help of Kuuz bin Jabir did not reach the polytheists. The Muslims acquired greatest victory over the disbelievers. Many disbelievers were killed, some were arrested and who remained alive, they returned being abject and disgraced. This Battle of Badr happened to be cause of difference between the right and the wrong, and it became a golden page of the history of Muslim’s bright past.

LESSON # 418 - Thankful To Allah

LESSON # 418 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Thankful To Allah
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –123 of 200, Section –13    (Part – 4)

And Allah had already given you the victory at Badr, when ye were contemptible. So observe your duty to Allah in order that ye may be thankful.
Wa  laqad  nasara-kumul-laahu  bi-Badrinw-wa  ‘antum  ‘azillah.  Fatta-qullaaha  la-‘allakum  tash-kuruun.

Lesson

Badr  - The first battle between Islam and Infidelity was fought on 17th Ramadan 2 AH. In the battlefield of Badr a handful, number of Muslims got such graceful victory that the spine of infidelity was broken. The Infidels judged first time about the strength of Muslims. ‘antum  ‘azillah  (you were contemptible). At that time number of Muslims were 313 (three hundred and thirteen only) including old, young, little (boys) and elder, who might be able to fight. They all did not have even proper weapons to fight. This entire Army had only 70 (seventy) camels and two horses. The swords and lances of some of the persons were broken. Even that some person carried only staffs of the date trees for proceeding to the crusade.

Some crusaders of Islam were such persons, who were not able to fight due to their age and height, and the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) wished that they should not go in the battlefield. But observing their longing he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was compelled to let them permit to go.

The Battle of Badr was a very strong test of the Muslims’ courage and spirit. One thousand Quraysh braves attacked under command of well conversant generals including Abu Jehal {the father of ignorance and uncle of Prophet Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)}. Many of them were riders. The men in armor out of them were three hundred. They all had each type of arms and equipment for warfare.

These one thousand Army Personnel, Intoxicated with power, assaulted three hundred and thirteen Muslims. But in the first assault this great multitude became helpless to surrender. Their seventy persons were slain and the Muslims arrested the same numbers. Those overcame who were weak and those were disgraced who were powerful.

This verse has very great lesson in itself to satisfy the injured Muslims of the Battle of ‘Uhud and desire of pleasing the weak Muslims. If Allah Almighty can support the Truth to conquer during its prime time of helplessness, then why the Billion Muslims of today be distressed in mind. They should trust in Allah Almighty and put their entire strength in eminence of Islam.

LESSON # 417 - The Believers Should Put Trust In Allah

LESSON # 417 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
The Believers Should Put Trust In Allah
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –122 of 200, Section –13    (Part – 4)

When two parties of you almost fell away, and Allah was their Protecting Friend. And in Allah let believers put their trust.
‘Iz  hammat-taaa-‘ifataani  minkum  ‘an-  tafshalaa,  wallaahu  Waliy-yu-humaa. Wa ‘alallaahi  fal-yata-wakkalil-Mu’-minuun.

Lesson

taaa-‘ifataani- (Two parties), aim from these two parties is the people of those two tribes ‘Banu Harthah and Banu Salmah’, who had become broken hearted and almost fallen away at the time of Battle of ‘Uhud.

The plan of the battlefield has been described in the pervious lesson. You have read it earlier that the total numbers of Muslims were just one thousand against three thousand Quraysh braves. Three hundred Fraudster Hypocrites returned in the way out of those one thousand with their leader ‘Abd-Allah ibn Ubayy . it was not extraordinary thing for feeble-hearted persons to be worried observing this situation. The people of Banu Harthah and Banu Salmah became perplexed and thought, “What will happen now?” Allah Almighty raised feelings of ambition and courage in their hearts, and expelled the concept of deficiency and majority of manpower from their hearts.

The Muslims advanced with such power of trust in Allah Almighty that the spirit of Infidels ended and they began to run from the battleground. The Warriors of Islam began to arrest them and collect their equipment. When the fifty archers, appointed at the hill-pass, observed this situation, they also involved in it. Even they forgot the warning of Holy Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) and did not care too their leader’s advice.

Khalid bin al-Waleed  had not yet embraced Islam. He was leading the enemy’s Army (of Meccan Infidels). As soon as he observed that the hill-pass was without the archers, he collected his deserting companions, attacked with their help from that side and changed the map of battle. The Muslims were confused and they suffered with many casualties. Even the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) personally was wounded.

The Muslims drew up in a line again. They advanced and engaged in a desperate undertaking once again, beat the Quraysh braves and drove them back. The world knew that deficiency or surplus manpower had no value in the battlefield, but the steadfastness and patience of the crusaders, success and support of Allah Almighty are of use.

LESSON # 416 - Plan Of The Battlefield – Battle Of ‘Uhud

LESSON # 416 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Plan Of The Battlefield – Battle Of ‘Uhud
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –121 of 200, Section –13    (Part – 4)

And when thou settedst forth at daybreak from the housefolk to assign to the believers their positions for the battle. And Allah is Hearer, Knower-
Wa  ‘iz  gadawta  min  ‘ah-lika  tubaw-wi-‘ul-Mu’-miniina  maqaa-‘ida  lil-qitaal. Wallaahu Samii-‘un  ‘Aliim-

Lesson

The events regarding preparations for the battle, departure from home to the battleground and drawing up in flanks for the battlefield by Holy Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) have been pointed out in this verse. Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) proceeded from home for the crusade in the right path early in morning. He assigned the positions to the Believers for the battle, caused to sit them down on the appropriate lines of entrenchments and arranged the map of battlefield.

Here it signifies towards the Battle of ‘Uhad. Afterwards, the events and circumstances will be mentioned continuously about the Battle of ‘Uhad. It seems appropriate to describe the events of this battle (Gazwah) briefly in this lesson, so that there would not be necessary to repeat it again and again.

On Saturday, March 19, 625 (3 Shawwal) 3 AH, the Quraysh of Mecca lead their Army to Medina with three thousand selected braves. One year prior, they suffered a defeat in the battle of Badr. So now, they came with full preparations. Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) consulted his companions (may Allah Almighty be pleased with them). The old people advised that self-defense should be arranged staying within the city. ‘Abd-Allah ibn Ubayy (the chief of the Khazraj tribe) and leader of the hypocrites had also this opinion. The young people said, “It is the sign of weakness; we should go out and fight against them. We shall defend with stakes and engage in a desperate undertaking at each cost.

Holy Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) agreed to this suggestion, came out from his house wearing the armor and departed towards the battlefield from the city with other Muslim. Total numbers of Muslims were one thousand. ‘Abd-Allah ibn Ubayy (leader of the hypocrites) returned with his three hundred disbelievers saying that ‘when you did not agree to us then we would not cooperate with you’.

Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) delivered the flag over to Hadrat Mas-‘ab bin ‘Umar (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him), appointed Hadrat Zubair bin Awam (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) as commander of  the troop of the horses, kept the people (who were not in armor) under the command of Hadrat Amir Hamza (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him), determined fifty archers at a pass (of the mountain) under supervision of Hadrat ‘Abd-Allah bin Zubair (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) and ordered them not to leave the pass at any cost. This battle of right and wrong began with these preparations.

LESSON # 415 - Persevering & Keeping Away From Evil

LESSON # 415 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Persevering & Keeping Away From Evil
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –120 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

If a lucky chance befall you, it is evil unto them, and if disaster strike you they rejoice thereat. And if ye persevere and keep from evil, their guile will never harm you. Lo! Allah is Surrounding what they do.
‘In-  tamsaskum  hasana-tun- tasu’-hum  wa  in  tusibkum  sayyi- ‘atuny-yafrahuu  bihaa.  Wa  ‘in- tas-biruu  wa  tattaquu  laa  yazurrukum  kayduhum  shay-‘aa.  ‘Innallaaha  bimaa  ya’-maluuna  Muhiit.

Lesson

Enmity of the People of the Scripture is apparent with the Muslims from the matter that If any lucky chance befalls them, it is disagreeable to the People of the Scripture. Observing the union of the Muslims, their prosperity, victory and superiority over the enemies, they foam with fury and rage of jealousy.
But if any misfortune frustrates the Muslims, then the People of the Scripture gladden at that occasion. What can be expected from this kind of mean nation for goodness and heartiness?

This behavior of the People of the Scripture was not only during the primary time of Islam, but until today, they behave the Muslims as such. However, it is another thing if they abstain from enmity due to their any personal advisability for some time.

There was a possibility that some Muslims may think about restriction from keeping the friendship with the People of the Scripture as, “When they will not keep friendly relations with those People, then perhaps they will conspire more frequently against the Muslims and try to harm them ardently”. To overcome this impediment of anxiety, Allah Almighty commanded, “Don’t fear, if you persevere, keep steadiness and remain away from the evil, then their any guile, conspiracy or deception will never harm you”. Allah Almighty knows entire, what they allure. He is Omnipotent and possesses all Powers and Strength. He will keep them annihilated. The Muslims should keep their matters clear with Allah Almighty, trust in His Power and Strength and hold fast His rope, leave no stone unturned in mutual union and relations, remain individually steadfast on honesty and integrity. They will not have any fear of confederacies and adversities of the Infidels, the obstinate, the Jews or the Christians. Even today, while the disbelievers and infidels have become origin of danger for the Muslims, and have encompassed them from each side, now the Muslims should be attentive and adopt the path of patience and steadfastness from the beginning. They should keep the fear of Allah Almighty in their breasts and intend to die in the Way of Allah Almighty with self-determination. Then there is no reason that their entire opposite powers would not become helpless through long or continued looking.

LESSON # 414 - False Love Of The People Of The Scripture

LESSON # 414 FROM HOLY QUR'AN
False Love Of The People Of The Scripture
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –119 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)
Lo! ye are those who love them though they love you not, and ye believe in all the Scripture. And when they fall in with you they say: We believe; and when they go apart they bite their finger-tips at you, for rage. Say: Perish in your rage! Lo! Allah is Aware of what is hidden in (your) breasts.
Haaa-‘antum  ‘ulaaa-‘i  tu-hibbuunahum  wa  laa  yuhib-buunakum  wa  tu’-minuuna  bil-Kitaabi  kullih. Wa  ‘izaa  la-quukum  qaaluuu’  ‘aamannaa. Wa  ‘izaa  khalaw  azzuu  ‘alay-kumul-‘anaamila  minal-gayz. Qul-  muutuu  bi-gayzikum. ‘Innallaaha  ‘Alii-mum-  bizaatis-suduur.

Lesson

Allah Almighty has commanded the Muslims, “You are exhausted in the love of the People of the Scripture but they are not your friends, but they are such enemies who desire to undermine you. You believe in the entire Scripture either those belong to any nation and revealed during any Prophet’s (peace be upon him) time. On the contrary, they do not believe in your Book (Holy Qur’an) and Prophet, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him). Even their faith in their own Scripture is not correct too. It was necessary for them that they would have to love you and you would expose displeasure from them but the case is going at variance here.

Like this the Hypocrites used to claim with tongue that they were Muslims, likewise the Christians and the Jews began saying the word ‘aamannaa (we are Muslims) for getting the meanings from it that they believed in their Scripture and acknowledged them. Therefore, they used to try deceiving the Believers in the screen of saying “As we believe in our books and admit them, therefore we are also Muslim”.

Their malice with the Muslims can be felt from the fact that observing the progress of Islam and mutual affection between the Muslims, they become jealous. When they cannot do something, then due to anger and wrath they gnash their teeth and bite their fingers. The Muslims would not get any harm from their enmity. The People of the Scripture will use to die in their rage and their desires will be in vain. Allah Almighty has informed the Muslims about their secret wickedness, so that they may escape always from the enemies of their own and Allah Almighty.

LESSON # 413 - Foreigner Intimates

LESSON # 413 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Foreigner Intimates
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –118 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

O ye who believe! Take not for intimates others than your own folk, who would spare no pains to ruin you; they love to hamper you. Hatred is revealed by (the utterance of) their mouths, but that which their breasts hide is greater. We have made clear for you the Revelations if ye will understand.
Yaaa-‘ayyu-hallaziina  ‘aamanuu  laa tatta-khizuu  bitaanatam-min-  duunikum  laa  ya’-luunakum  kha-baalaa. Wadduu  maa  ‘anittum. Qad  badatil-bagzaaa-‘u  min  ‘afwaa-hihim. Wa  maa  tukhfii  suduu-ruhum  ‘akbar. Qad  bayyannaa  lakumul-‘Aayaati  ‘in-  kuntum  ta’-qiluun.

Lesson

In connection with the purpose to reveal this verse, description about both the groups i.e. the Jews and the Hypocrites has been mentioned. This narration has been written about the first mentioned group, that before Islam, those Muslims who had friendly relations with the Jews based on the neighborhood, remained as usual they were even after Islam. Trusting in their friendship, the Muslims used to tell them also some confidential matters/suggestions.

About the Hypocrites, it is narrated that considering them as Muslims, usually the Believers did not use to be careful from them and used to tell them their (Muslims) secrets. Likewise, fear of severe loss used to remain from them.

To save the Muslims from the evil of Jews and Hypocrites, here it has been told clearly that the Muslim should not take for intimates others than the Muslims, because no group is well-wisher of the Muslims, either they are Jews or Christians, Hypocrites or Idolaters. Nevertheless, these people remain in endeavor always to harm the Muslims, involve them in the religious and worldly mischief. They become happy when the Muslims remain in difficulty and calamity.

Allah Almighty says that the enmity and hatred, which their breasts hide, is greater. Usually they love to hamper you. Sometimes their feelings of suffocation and hatred are revealed by the utterance of their mouths, which provide their deep enmity clearly. Their tongues do not remain in their control due to rivalry and jealousy. Therefore, a wise person should not take such distrustful enemies for his/her intimates.

LESSON # 412 - Spending By The Disbelievers

LESSON # 412 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Spending By The Disbelievers
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –117 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

The likeness of that which they spend in this life of the world is as the likeness of a biting, icy wind which smiteth the harvest of a People who have wronged themselves, and devastateth it. And Allah wronged them not, but they do wrong themselves.
Masalu  maa  yunfiquuna  fii haazihil-hayaatid-dunyaa  ka-masli  riihin-  fiihaa  sirrun ‘asaabat  harsa  qaw-min- zala-muuu  ‘anfusahum  fa-‘ahla-kat-h. Wa maa zalamahumul-laahu  wa laakin  ‘anfusahum yazlimuun.

Lesson

The result of the Infidels has been described in this verse that whatever the wealth they spend in the world, it would not have any value on the Day of Resurrection, because due to lack of faith their each deed is lifeless and dead.

Thus, its meed would also be perishable and they will get it only in this world. Belief is the protector of acts forever. Likeness of the acts without faith is as someone planted a garden and did not arrange to protect it from the frost. Looking at the garden’s prosperity and greenness, he used to be happy for a few days and rely on it very much. Suddenly a biting, icy wind blows and it smites his entire blooming garden and harvest. That person remained losing his destruction and ruin. Neither his hope was completed and nor he could get any advantage from its production at the time of necessity. This destruction was a punishment of his tyranny and wickedness. Therefore, he will not be able to get any meed/reward upon this calamity in the Hereafter.

ka-masli  riihin- (likeness of wind) Alms and charity giving by the disbelievers has been explained as such a gust of air, which has biting and icy wind. It means, “That air which becomes cause of suffering and destruction in place of delight and merriment”.  Apparently, the human beings trust in it, but in fact its result comes out opposite.

The disbelievers of Allah Almighty do well (according to their thoughts) and spend money on good deeds. Apparently, the observer expects good results from it but really, it is not as such. When greatest services of a disloyal and rebellious cannot save him from the punishment of the crime of violence in the world then how the disbelievers may escape from the punishment in the court of Most Strong Ruler, Allah Almighty?          `

LESSON # 411 - Escape Hither Allah

LESSON # 411 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Escape Hither Allah
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –116 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

Lo! the riches and the progeny of those who disbelieve will not avail them aught against Allah; and such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein forever.
‘Innal-laziina  kafaruu  lan-tugniya  ‘anhum  ‘amwaa-luhum  wa laaa  ‘awlaaduhum-minal-laahi  shay-‘aa. Wa  ‘ulaaa-‘ika  ‘As-haabun-Naar. Hum  fiihaa  khaaliduun.

Lesson

After describing about the righteous people, now discussion about the Infidels begins. Allah Almighty has commanded in this verse that only Belief is the thing, which will help in the World and the Hereafter. Nothing of the worldly things like wealth and property, children and family will help the human being. For these things, someone must not deteriorate his/her Hereafter.

This matter has already been explained earlier that biggest reason for human being, which attracts towards the infidelity and denial, is the wealth, property and the children. These things tempt the person, he loves, keeps them very dare and forgets the difference between right and wrong being in love with them. Sometimes he becomes ready to sacrifice the honesty, truth, justice and virtue. He imagines that piles of wealth and property, sons and relatives will help him everywhere. These things will ward off his each misfortune. This immature person does not understand that these entire things are mortal. Their life is for a few days. These all are inferior and unreal things, which will not provide him any support. The real thing is the Wealth of Belief, which is sustainable and eternal, due to which humankind gets respect and honor in the world as well as wants success in the Hereafter.

Today we see so much such people around us who are proud of their wealth, puffed up upon the majority of their children, and who have pride for their property and factories. They consider these things as their belief and religion, and being in haughtiness of these things, they forget their Lord and Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him), laugh at the good and simpleton human beings. Their last destination is the Hell, in whose Fire they will remain burning forever.

As though, the success and the failure, the torment and the meed of the Hereafter will be according to mankind’s deeds. In the Scale of Justice, these acts will be weighed. Their names and family background will be useless.

LESSON # 410 - Increased Qualities Of Godly Persons

LESSON # 410 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Increased Qualities Of Godly Persons
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –114 & 115 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

114.  They believe in Allah and the Last Day, and enjoin right conduct and forbid the wrong, and vie one with another in good works. And these are of the righteous.

115.  And whatever good they do, they will not be denied the meed thereof. And Allah is Aware of those who ward off (evil).
114.  Yu’-minuuna  billaahi  wal-Yaw-mil-‘Aakhiri  wa  ya’-muruuna  bil-ma’-ruufi  wa  yan-hawna  ‘anil-munkari  wa  yu-saari-‘uuna  fil-khay-raat.  Wa  ‘ulaaa-‘ika  minas-Saalihiin.

115.  Wa  maa  yaf-‘aluu  min  khayrin-  falany-yukfaruuh.  Wallaahu  ‘Aliimum—bil-Mutta-qiin.

Lesson

The characteristics of the righteous group from the People of the Scripture are being described. Their three virtues were stated in the first verse, that is to say; they are on the straight path, recite the Revelations of Allah Almighty in the hours of night and they fall prostrate before Allah Almighty. Now their some more qualities have been mentioned.

They have faith in Allah Almighty and the Last Day whole heartedly, fear from the Day of Judgment and want to precede running fast from others when they are called for any good work. Moreover, they also wish to bring others towards the right path. No doubt, these are the People from the Jews, to whom Allah Almighty bestowed fortune of good disposition and special part of the guidance.

It has been cleared from the verse that although different types of evils had been produced into the Jews, despite reciting the glad tidings about the Last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in their Holy and Heavenly Books, they remained firm upon the denial. Even then, there were such People present between them, who succeeded in recognizing the Truth leaving the stubbornness and spite. It rained such blessings of Allah Almighty upon those People. Other Jews who used to deny the True Religion to keep up their false dignity, their end would be very bad.

So it is evident that he/she gets the Divine guidance, who leaves the stubbornness, recites the Revelations of Allah Almighty, also falls prostrate before Him at night, believes in Oneness of God Almighty and the Day of Resurrection, escapes from the evils and runs towards the good deeds. Such People will get meed from Allah Almighty. He knows the pious People very well. Therefore, whenever the evils of the Jews are discussed, then these types of sober and abstinent persons are exempted.
