Commentary

It was commanded previously that you should not enter in those houses where people live, without the permission of their inhabitants. And if you are not permitted then you should return without taking ill.

In this verse, it is commanded: If you wish to visit a house of any other but you do not find there any person, still you should not enter in that house. However if you have already been permitted then it is of no consequence in your entering that house. If here too, it is refused to give you permission then you should not frown. The fact is that none should touch any such thing without permission, owner of which is someone else. And without the will of the owner of a house you cannot enter whether someone exists there or otherwise. If any person thinks that the house is opened and there is no one watching, so there is no harm in entering the house, then if he is a Muslim, he should know it clearly that Allaah Almighty is Aware of his entire works and intentions. He knows that what you have been going to do and why. If temporary owner is absent, then Allaah Almighty is Present and has been looking and watching the house during the absence of its inhabitants, He has forbidden you from entering in the house of any other without his permission. If a mankind bears this matter in mind, then no sin will occur by him.
