Lesson # 754 - Human being will be alone at the time of death

Lesson # 754 From the Noble Quran

Human being will be alone at the time of death

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)–Stage - 2

Verse –94 of 165, Section – 11 of 20 (Part - 7)

BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Now have ye come unto Us solitary as We did create you at the first, and ye have left behind you all that We bestowed upon you, and We behold not with you those your intercessors, of whom ye claimed that they possessed a share in you. Now is the bond between you severed , and that which ye presumed hath failed you.
Wa laqad  ji’-tu-muuNaa  furaadaa  kamaa  khalaqNaakum  ‘awwala  marratin-  wa  taraktum-maa  khawwalNaakum  waraaa-‘a  zuhuurikum.  Wa  maa  Naraa  ma-‘akum  shufa-‘aaa-‘akumul-laziina  za-‘amtum  ‘annahum  fiikum  shura-kaaa’.  Laqatta-qatta-‘a  bay-nakum  wa  zalla  ‘ankum-maa  kuntum  taz-‘umuun.

Lesson

Furaadaa – (one by one, solitary), this word has been derived from “Fard”. In Arabic language, it has the same meaning which we expose in our own language from the word “fardan fardan” (one by one).
KhawwalNaa – (We bestowed), it is past tense, origin of which is “Takhwiil” – derived from the word “Khuul”, which means “an inferior servant, an attendant, equipment of comfort for the rich”. Takhwiil means “to provide the equipment of ease and comfort for better living”.
Za-‘amtum – (you used to presume, you claimed), it is a past tense, which has been derived from za-‘am, which means “to presume, to claim, to think or say something wrong”.

It was commanded earlier that when any human being is entangled in his rank and dignity, he considers, “None is equal to me. I have all powers. My command is executed. My servants work according to my desires. The equipment of pleasure exists”. It is called pride and haughtiness. If anyone says to the proud and haughty person, “The commands regarding the prayer, the fasting, paying the poor-due etc. exist in the verses of Holy Quran”, then he says waves, “Not only this is the job in the world. I do not have any spare time from my business”.

Such people are being addressed in this verse: All the worldly equipment, which has intoxicated you, will remain in this world, and you will go there (in the Hereafter) empty handed as you were born. However, your soul will not like to leave your body due to your love with the worldly things and you will meet with a very severe difficulty at the time of death. Nothing will be with you and helpful from these things.

The idolaters say: These idols etc. will intercede for us in the Court of God Almighty and help us in obtaining deliverance from the punishment. As we gain our end in this world through them (idols), so those will be useful for us too in the Doomsday.

But contrary to this, the Angels (peace be upon Them) of frightful appearance will come unto them at the time of their death and pull their soul from their body forcibly to bring it in the Court of Allah Almighty. At that time, they will be alone and see none to intercede for them. Their entire false thoughts and liar claims will disappear. Their relationship with intercessors and relatives will be disconnected.
