Lesson # 767 - They will believe never even after seeing the Signs

Lesson # 767 From the Noble Quran

They will  believe Never even after seeing the Signs

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)–Stage - 2

Verse –109b of 165, Section – 13 of 20 (Part - 7)

BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: Portents are with Allah and (so is) that which telleth you that if such came unto them they would not believe.
Qul  ‘innamal- ‘Aayaatu  ‘indAllaahi  wa  maa  yush-‘irukum,  ‘annahaaa  ‘izaa  jaaa-‘at  laa  yu’-minuun.

Lesson

It had even gone through the last lesson that the idolaters used to say after hearing the miracles and portents of earlier Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon Them) for putting off the matter: We want to see any extraordinary portent; i.e. if this hill – Safaa will become of gold, certainly we shall believe. Allah Almighty has replied them previously in this Chapter (Surah): We do not sanction to make them believers in such a manner. We have sent down already unto them Our Revelations and bestowed them sufficient sense and wisdom for their understanding, now that sense and wisdom is required to be examined so that We may observe: whether it recognizes Allah Almighty or otherwise, after looking these portents. It has been described about that matter again here that there is no deficiency of Portents with Allah Almighty. Who will have the Portents, if He does not have?

Allah Almighty commands: O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him)! You have been prepared for praying, as they said that this hill should become of gold. The Muslims began also to consider their sayings as correct that if this hill becames of gold, certainly they would believe. Absolutely, they have been swearing such a solemn strong oath that if there comes unto them a portent, they will believe therein. How will they deny then? But you have to know that, if they did not believe after seeing such portents, then according to certain rules, Divine punishment will be revealed surely. And these people have been entangled in the love of their old traditions and customs in such a manner that it seems that they will never give up them. After that, they will search any other pretext of disbelieving. Therefore, you should say to them: Allah Almighty has all the Portents, which you demand, and those can be with Him only. Moreover, if you disbelieved after that then you will live in the middle of nowhere.

Then Allah Almighty addresses the Muslims: what do you know about them? Shall they surely believe after looking the Portents? The love of those old traditions has settled in their hearts, upon which they are firm, and due to which, they have been reaping advantage of the world. Asking for the Portents is a pretext only. And they are swearing due to the reason that they are unable to estimate the Divine Power of Allah Almighty. And they consider such Portents impossible like making the entire hill of gold.

Therefore, nobody can say that after seeing such powerful Portents, shall they believe certainly. Their condition is pronouncing also that they will evade it by saying the Portents – as charm and magic etc. and then to carry on their own polytheistic way, they will try to make any other excuse.

It is known from this lesson that creation of the world is of such type that all of the believers and disbelievers (Muslims, Infidels, Idolaters and Atheists etc.) will live here mutually including such Portents, by observing which of them, the wise people adopt the Path of Islam.
