Lesson

Malakuuti – this word has been derived from malak, which means “common sovereignty over entire things”. Malakuuti means “management of every kind of creature according to its own nature and rule upon them”.

Those people were threatened in the previous verse; who deny the Revelations of Allah Almighty, that they should not be deceived from their prosperity and success of the world. Allah Almighty does not hasten in punishing. They should understand and think that has the Holy Qur’an no importance which ultimately; Allah Almighty has managed with merit to send in the world? Nay! But it has very deep purpose i.e. that individual or nation which is provided opportunity to acquire wealth and property, rank and grandeur in the world; notwithstanding; they put the Commands of God Almighty behind their back, their eyes should be opened by means of Holy Qur’an that they should not behave with boastfulness and should not consider, “I have received everything, now; there is no need to hear the Revelations of Qur’an”.

They have been invited in this verse that they should meditate upon their condition. They should think: Why does the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) show too much activity in delivering the Message of God Almighty whereas they suffer painful difficulties, hard labor and cruelty? (Let us flee to God) Their minds have no unsoundness.

It is commanded that eventually; they should think the Prophet and Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him), who has been living with them since His birth; they know His habits very well. They accept that He (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is honest, intelligent, wise and pure in all matters. They praise to His manners and give evidence that He is indifferent and well-wisher of the public. There is no madness in Him and nor is He unwise or stupid, but He proves that He is more wise, foresighted and circumspect than all of them. Then, what is the reason of not listening to His Word, while neither He desires to rule upon them, nor wishes to make them Own obedient or make His own government. He does not say to anyone: Give Me everything which you have and live as My slaves and servants.
