Quran Chapter 11-12 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1352) - درس قرآن

Allah is In Charge of all things

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

12.  A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a Warner. And Allah is in charge of all things.
12.  Fala-’allaka  taari-kum-ba’-za  maa  yuu-haaa  ‘ilay-ka  wa  zaaa-‘iqum-  bihii  sadruka  ‘any-yaquu-luu  law-laaa  ‘unzila  ‘alay-hi  kunzun  ‘aw  jaaa-‘a  ma-‘a-huu  malak.  ‘Inna-maaa  ‘anta  naziir.  Wallaahu  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘inw-Wakiil.

Commentary

Wakiilun – (in charge, having legal power), this word is an adjective, which has come out from wakala. Wakala means “to commit to charge, to entrust, to deliver over”. The words “wakaalat, tawakkal. Mu-‘akkal” etc. have also been derived from the same. Wakiil is the person who is committed to charge a case, one vested with authority or power.

In the world, last Messenger and Prophet of God Almighty is Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His last Word (Book) is Holy Qur’an. When He (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was born in the world, at that time, every powerful person was devouring the weak. Oppressive people criticized the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and said: If you will give up censuring our way of life, we shall never disturb you.

It has been caused to understand the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in this verse: Qur’aan says the Truth, and it is your duty that you should deliver its commands to all; as these are, otherwise the Truth will not remain in its original form. And which these people say: We would have believed in it that you were a Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) if you would have brought down a treasure for yourself, or an angel would have come with you. Being empty-handed and without splendor, you cannot influence over any individual.

Allah Almighty gives spirit to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in these words: You should not suffer from inferiority complex due to such sayings of those people. Your Lord has bestowed the highest rank of the mankind to you and appointed you His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), so that you should warn the people that if they will disobey the commands of Allah Almighty, His doom will come on them. It is in His Divine Power that He appoints His Messenger (peace be upon him) to whom He desires, because everything is in His power and possession. He organizes and causes to run the systems of the entire universe; in the form; He considers suitable.
