Qur’an is sent by Him Who is Creator of all things

Chapter TAA-HAA – 20

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

 طه  1

  مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ  2

  إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ  3

  تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلْعُلَى  4

  ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَىٱلْعَرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ  5 

1.Taa-Haa. 2.  We have not revealed unto thee (Muhammad) this Qur’aan that thou shouldst be distressed.. 3.  But as a reminder unto him who feareth- 4.  A Revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 5.  The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne.

1.  Taa-Haa. 2.  Maaa  ‘anzalNaa  ‘alaykal-Qur-‘aana  litashqaaa. 3.  ‘Illaa  tazkiraltal-limany-yakhshaa. 4.  Tanziilam-mimman  khala-qal-‘arza  was-samaa-waatil-‘ulaa. 5.  ‘Ar-Rahmaanu  ‘alal-‘Ar-shistawaa.

        

Commentary

Taa-Haa – this word is from “the short letters (Huruuf Muqatta-‘aat). Only Allah Almighty knows its meanings or to whom He informed.

It is commanded: Holy Qur’an is a necessary thing for the guidance of the mankind. By it, it has been informed to those people whose nature is careful and who act carefully and cautiously, and who are called abstemious, that their fear and care are absolutely right. Now they should follow that path unto which Holy Qur’an guides. It has been revealed for the purpose that careful servants of God Almighty should make it Rules of Practice for themselves. Allah Almighty is That Who created this entire universe. He is Who created this earth on which you move and dwell, and He established these high heavens.

Can it be understood that He, Who is Creator of this entire greatest nature, will not arrange for mankind’s guidance, and will leave it in the helpless condition? Nay, but He has managed it well, because while He has created it, then only He can hold it up also. There is none who may be able to interfere in His management.

It was necessary for the guidance of the mankind that a chain of Prophets (peace be upon them) should be established and the Scriptures should be revealed, and You (O Muhammad) should be appointed as the last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and the last Scripture (Holy Qur’an) should be revealed unto You, and it should be set as last source of mankind’s guidance. This Qur’an has not been sent unto you to put you in trouble. It is demand of Mercy of That Allah, The Beneficent, Whose Command is executed by the entire universe, and Who is the Owner of the Throne of Sovereignty of the entire worlds.
