Throwing away from good matters

Chapter ’Al-‘Ahzaab” - (The Clans) - 33

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

64.  Lo! Allah hath cursed the Disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming Fire-

65.  Wherein they will abide for ever. They will find (then) no protecting friend nor helper.

66.  On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they say: Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and had obeyed His Messenger!
64.   ’InnAllaaha  la-‘anal-Kaafiriina  wa  ‘a-‘adda  lahum  Sa-‘iiraa.

65.  Khaalidiina  fiihaa  ‘abadaa.  Laa  yajiduuna  waliyyanw-wa  laa  nasiiraa.

66.  Yawma  tuqallabu  wujuu-huhum  fin-Naari  yaquuluuna  yaa-laytanaaa  ‘ata’-nAllaaha  wa  ‘ata’-nar-Rasuulaa.

Commentary

The people, who disbelieved, have been warned severely in this verse and they have been threatened from their consequence. To a jaundiced eye; everything is yellow. It has been commanded to open their eyes: There is no doubt in it that Allaah Almighty has thrown them away from good matters who disbelieved in Him. He is angry with them and He has prepared a flaming Fire for them, in which they will be admitted.

Bear in mind! Such a Day is near to come on which their faces will be turned about in the Fire. They will be thunderstruck on that Day and will say: Would that we had obeyed Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory blessings and peace be upon him), and had not faced these evil days and had been dwelling in the Garden with ease and comfort.

Indeed, bringing difficulties on oneself for a few days of this worldly temporary life is a great ignorance.
