2a.  Ya’-lamu  maa  yaliju  fil-‘arzi  wa  maa  yakhruju  minhaa

Commentary

Yaliju – (penetrates, goes into),

If we understand the Epithets of Allaah Almighty carefully, then it entirely will be obvious that all the Excellences are for Him only and only He deserves Praise and Hymn.

It is commanded: Everything; which exists in the heavens and in the earth, is only of Allaah Almighty. He created all things by His Perfect Divine Power. Only He is Who holds up all of them and keeps. He Alone is Possessor of all things. There is none who may be His partner in any matter. Reality and fact concerning everything is in His Knowledge. Then who can be the Magazine of the entire Qualities save Him? While He is the Owner of the entire Excellences, then only He should be praised. It will become manifest on the Day of Resurrection clearly that there is none Praiseworthy save Him.

Allaah Almighty is Aware of every that thing which penetrates into the earth or which comes forth from it. He has knowledge of every atom, whether that is hidden in the earth or apparent.
