Acceptance of Guidance

Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

  يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ 31b  قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوٓا۟ أَنَحْنُ صَدَدْنَٰكُمْ عَنِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ بَعْدَ إِذْ جَآءَكُم بَلْ كُنتُم مُّجْرِمِينَ 32  

                                       

31b.  how those who were despised (in the earth) say unto those who were proud: But for you, we should have been Believers. 32.  Those who were proud say unto those who were despised: Did we drive you away from the Guidance after it had come unto you? Nay, but ye were guilty.

31b.  Yaquulul-laziinas-tuz-‘ifuu  lillaziinas-takbaruu  law-laaa  ‘antum  lakunnaa  Mu’-miniin. 32.  Qaalal-laziinas-takbaruu  lillaziinas-tuz-‘ifuuu  ‘a-nahnu  sadadnaakum  ‘anil-Hudaa  ba’-da  ‘iz  jaaa-‘akum  bal  kuntum-  mujrimiin.

Commentary

The people who attain degree, power of influence, strength or wealth in the world, they become able that those people should follow them who have nothing from above mentioned things. Poor people desire to compete with them. Every subordinate wishes to choose the path of his ruler. Weak is compelled before the strong. Rich people and seniors pride that little people obey their order. But on the Day of Resurrection, reality of everything will be exposed because there; it will be visible clearly that no one has any power or strength save Allaah Almighty.

It is commanded: the people who were determined feeble during the worldly life, they will say to them, who used to consider themselves “great people”, “You are the people who misled us. If you had not been in the world, certainly we would have obeyed the Messengers (peace be upon them) and we would have been rich by the blessings of the Belief”. After hearing this, so-called great people will refuse and say to the little people: How could we misguide you? Allaah Almighty had given you sense. His Prophets (peace be upon them) had manifested clearly the sign of the straight path. Look within yourselves! You know that you went astray at your own but blame us. It all is useless. You were criminals and responsible of your deeds.
