End of those who dealt unjustly

Surah YUUNUS - 10 (JONAH)

 BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

52.  Then will it be said unto those who dealt unjustly: Taste the torment of eternity. Are ye requited aught save what ye used to earn?

53.  And they ask thee to inform them (saying): Is it true? Say: Yes, by my Lord, verily it is true, and ye cannot escape.
52.  Summa  qiila  lilla-ziina  zalamuu  zuuquu  ‘azaa-bal-khuld.  Hal  tuj-zawna  ‘illaa  bimaa  kuntum  taksi-buun.

53.  Wa  yas-tambi-‘uunaka  ‘a-haqqun  huu.  Qul  ‘Ii  wa  Rabbiii  ‘innahuu  la-haqq.  Wa  maaa  ‘antum-  bi-mu’-jiziin. (Section 6)

Commentary

It has been described in these verses at first that it will be said (in the life after death) to those who dealt unjustly in the present life: Taste the torment of eternity today (on the Day of Resurrection) against that carelessness and stupidity; in which you used to walk with affected dignity in the world. That is before you today whatever you used to do there.

After that, it is commanded that the oppressors who committed unlawful works and adopted unbecoming behavior, will be informed: You will be punished today properly due to your evil deeds, and you will know that such works; in which you were engaged during your worldly life, and from which you were not ready to be separate instantly, have surrounded you today from all around in the form of doom, and they will never relax you. As you did not give up them in the world, they will not release you in the Day of Resurrection. Some of those works will burn you by becoming fire, some will bite you by becoming snakes and scorpions, and form of some sins will become like boiling water; which you would have to drink.

In short, which honor and sign of casual amusement did exist into those people; will be finished totally, and only troublesome and vexatious matters will remain with them. If they ask today about these things being astonished that: Will it all appear truly? You should say to them: I swear that it all will occur; by my Lord. Any condition of yours; for example being broken of your bones in small pieces or becoming your body ashes/particles of mud; cannot render Allah Almighty helpless that He may reproduce you.
