Advice – (1)
Chapter “YAA-SIIIN” - (YASIN) – 36
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ 19b
وَجَآءَ مِنْ أَقْصَا ٱلْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَىٰ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ 20 ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا يَسْـَٔلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ 21
19b. Nay, but ye are
froward folk!
20. And there came from
the uttermost part of the city a man running. He said: O my people! Follow
those who have been sent!
21. Follow those who
ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided.

19b. Bal ‘antum
qawmum-musrifuun.
20. Wa jaaa-‘a
min ‘aqsal-Madiinati rajuluny-yas-‘aa qaala
yaa-qawmittabi-‘ul-mursaliin.
21. ‘Ittabi-‘uu mal-laa
yas-‘alukum ‘ajranw-wa hum-muhtaduun.

Commentary
The Prophets (peace be upon them) said: The troubles which are
befalling you, are punishment because of your bad deeds. Is this adversity less
than enough that you determine ill-will to our good-will? What result can be of
such crooked sense other than destruction? Considering that poison will support
the life; is forerunner of ruin. Its next step can be that the people begin
even to take poison erroneously because they deem that it is an efficacious
medicine. When wise people will hear that some people have begun taking poison
as food ignorantly, then it is impossible that they do not inform them about
the actual matter. Certainly these informers are their real well-wishers. If
they did neither obey them and nor refrain from taking poison, then certainly
the poison will harm them.
Meanwhile, after hearing about the obstinacy of the people of
the city, a man came running from the farthest end
of the city and said: O my compatriots! These Prophets (peace be upon
them) have been speaking hundred per cent truth. You should obey and follow
them. Do you not behold that they have been informing you about the reality
without having any personal interest? And they do not ask of you any payment of that goodness which they have been
doing with you. That is better for you which they have been saying. They are rightly guided and desire to show you the Right
Path. You should do as they say if you are desirous of own betterment.
