Human being should
be a mankind
Chapter “Qasas”- (The Story) - 28
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)
Those, who recite Holy Qur’an, should understand it carefully
that reciting its Words by spelling, committing to memory or causing to hear by
looking, and reciting in especial tone of Qur’an {as Readers (Qaarii)
recite}, is not sufficient to make a human being mankind. By these matters, a
man can become a Reader and a Melodious Reciter (Naazirah Khwan, Haafiz
and Qaarii), but it does not mean that he has reaped full advantage from
the Bounty of Holy Qur’an. It is right that Naazirah Khwan (who
can recite the Holy Qur’an correctly), Haafiz and Qaarii should
remain among us every time in large numbers who should be entirely aware of
speaking the letters of Arabic Alphabets, emphasizing of the words (Madd
and Shadd), pause and connection (Waqf and Vasl) etc. But
anyhow it is not right that it should be considered sufficient. Every Reciter
of Holy Qur’an should try to understand it that the words which are
being spoken by tongue, are not only empty sounds, but there are very deep and
useful contents hidden into them, which are best Guides for mankind to pass the
life in this world, and which have been described by a very common way of
understanding.
It is neither any collection of poetry or lyric poems; in which
there can be nothing except exciting timely passions, and nor it is a
collection of songs; in which the object may be to cast fluctuation of sound
only on the principles of music. And it is not any tale or story also, by which
one desires to amuse only or produce a collection of imaginary thoughts, but
such matters have been explained in it clearly; upon which goodness, peace and
security of the mankind depend. It has been described openly that the
consequence of mankind’s evil deeds and ill-manners is not but destruction.
When works of most of the people fall down from the standard of humanity, then
they should understand it that any great disaster is near to come. When the
entire furnaces would be spoiled, then the Building of the world would become a
heap. The world would remain established till the time; the people, whose moral
character would be good and who like justice and equity, would exist. When the
times of oppression and tyranny, arrogance and misconduct will come, then there
will be no delay in its destruction and ruin. Circumstances of Pharaoh and his
folk show plainly that those, who oppress others; who consider that they are
most powerful and who increase their power to keep the weak pressed, will be
ruined consequently.
